Heavy-duty high-capacity auxiliary (sub) tank upgrade precision-engineered for the 2015+ Toyota Land Cruiser LC78 (2.8T Diesel / 4.0L V6 Gas) equipped with factory dual fuel tanks. Designed to directly replace the 90L OEM sub-tank with a massive 155L capacity, expanding total onboard fuel volume from 180L to an astounding 245L. It integrates 100% seamlessly with Toyota’s factory dual-tank dash switch, OEM transfer pump logic, and level senders, delivering a bulletproof, codes-free solution for trans-continental expeditions.
Gauge Behavior: The factory dual-tank gauge and in-dash switch system remain 100% functional. When switched to the sub-tank, the fuel gauge reads the expanded 155L capacity, declining at a significantly slower rate than the OEM setup. When the sub-tank low-fuel warning triggers, a generous physical reserve of approx. 20L - 25L remains in the chamber, providing an exceptional safety margin for remote Outback or desert crossings.
