Designed to directly replace the 90L OEM sub-tank with a massive 145L capacity, expanding total onboard fuel volume from 180L to 235L when paired with the factory 90L main tank. It integrates 100% seamlessly with Toyota’s OEM dual-tank dash switch, transfer pump logic, and fuel senders, delivering a bulletproof, codes-free solution for commercial work and extreme overland expeditions.
Gauge Behavior: The factory dual-tank gauge and in-dash transfer switch system remain 100% functional. When switched to the auxiliary position, the fuel gauge reads the expanded 145L capacity, declining more gradually than stock. When the sub-tank low-fuel warning triggers, a generous physical reserve of approx. 20L remains in the chamber. Distance to Empty (DTE) is dynamically calculated by Toyota's ECU, offering a dependable safety buffer for heavy commercial loads and long-distance Outback touring.
