Fuel System Logic

SYSTEM TYPE

Automatic Cyclic Siphon Transfer

Automated siphon-based transfer system. The auxiliary tank replenishes the main tank in calculated cycles, maintaining optimal fuel levels without manual switches or external pumps.
Gauge Behavior: OEM gauge displays the main tank. During driving, the range (DTE) will periodically "reset" or increase as the auxiliary tank completes up to 3 replenishment cycles. This cycling is normal behavior. Once the auxiliary tank is empty, the gauge will decline steadily to the low-fuel warning.

Structure & Protection Design

01

Reinforced Bottom Plate

A reinforced 5mm bottom plate improves durability and provides additional protection in uneven terrain and off-road driving conditions.
Reinforced Bottom Plate
02

Internal Baffle System

Internal baffles help control fuel movement inside the tank, improving vehicle stability and fuel pickup reliability on uneven terrain.

03

Heat Shield Protection

Integrated heat shielding reduces exhaust heat exposure and helps protect fuel system components from excessive temperature.
Heat Shield Protection
04

Strap Shield Protection System

Recessed mounting pockets allow the tank straps to sit flush within protected zones, reducing the risk of strap damage or snagging when sliding over obstacles off-road.

FUEL PUMP MODIFICATION
To integrate the auxiliary fuel tank system, a siphon valve is installed onto the original fuel pump assembly. This requires slightly enlarging the existing access slot on the OEM fuel pump housing to approximately 5 cm, as shown below.
!
SAFETY COMPLIANCE: This modification does not affect the operation, sealing, or reliability of the factory fuel pump, and does not involve any cutting or welding of the vehicle chassis or body structure.
